Process Historian, George Eastman Museum Teaching is not really about answers but about questions. I was 16 when I began teaching banjo lessons to adults, and even then I came to realize that what I was doing was identifying the questions people needed to ponder in order to teach themselves. Fifty years later, I’m still encouraging people to understand how photography works, so that they can use it as a creative tool much in the same way grammar is a foundation to form sentences.
