Dick Durrance
A former Director of Photography at National Geographic once described Dick as one of the most versatile photographers of his generation. His first assignment as a photographer was published as a 45 page cover story in National Geographic when he was a student at Dartmouth College. He went on to be a U.S. Army combat photographer in Vietnam, staff photographer at National Geographic, advertising photographer shooting global campaigns for advertising agencies, publisher of posters featuring panorama pictures of the National Parks, and creator of photographic libraries for some of the world’s great golf courses.
