Annie Griffiths

Photographer, author, philanthropist, Annie Griffiths was one of the first women photographers at National Geographic. Her work over the last 30 years has taken her to nearly 150 countries. Annie is the Founder of Ripple Effect Images, a collective of photographers and filmmakers who document programs that empower women in the developing world and create films and images that dramatically increase their funding. Although her work has been honored and exhibited widely, Annie’s goal has always been to ensure that her images are useful as well as beautiful.
